Currie Chieftains v Edinburgh Academicals, Saturday 2 October, KO 3.00 pm

Sadly, the Selkirk v Currie Chieftains encounter scheduled for 25 September was called off due to Covid problems in the Selkirk squad. However, the match has now been rescheduled for Saturday 20 November, so the postponement will not disrupt the season overall.

The coming weekend, Saturday 2 October, Chieftains fans can look forward with real expectation to Currie Chieftains v Edinburgh Academicals at Malleny Park, KO 3.00 pm.

This season, Edinburgh Accies are flying high and will arrive at Malleny off the back of a 42-29 pts demolition of Hawick RFC last weekend. A high-scoring game is almost guaranteed, with both sides having a reputation for open attacking rugby.

Lunch will be available prior to the game (to sit down at 1.15 pm). Bookings must be made with Donna Collins the Clubhouse Manager (clubhousemanager@curriechieftains.org) by mid-day Thursday.

Currie Chieftains A v Edinburgh Accies 2nd XV will be at Raeburn Place on Saturday 2 October, KO 3.00 pm.

Please note that on Sunday 3rd October the Breakout Suite will be open in the morning but will close at 12.30 hours for a private function.
