Last weekend saw two semi finals, a development game and two friendlies for the midi section.  There was also respect paid on Sunday, before all games were played, in tribute to the sad passing Doddie Weir.

The weekend started with our Colts making the trip to Cambuslang to play East Kilbride in the West Conference Cup. They triumphed 43-12 and now face Dunfermline away on 10th December in the final.

Next up was our U16’s at home against Stirling County in the National Shield Semi Final. On the main first team pitch and in front of a big crowd, we suffered a few early injuries and the game ended up with a tough 24-20 defeat. A great performance on the day and it’s been a great season for our U16’s.

Our U13, U14 and U15 played against National Conference opposition again this week, this time against GHA.

Our U15’s were at home on Santerfield and played in a hard game against a big and physical opposition. The game finished 19-12 to GHA but it was a great performance by Currie.

Our U14’s travelled to Braidholm and played on the big pitch in front of the stand. A great performance followed and our U14’s ended up worthy 50-12 winners.

Our U13’s played a development game at Braidholm and were able to have some new players, who had never played a match before, take to the field as chieftains!

All in all, a huge number of players turned out for the club and we have a final to look forward to in two weeks!

This weekend our Colts and U16 are away to Boroughmuir. U13-U15 TBC
