TEAMSHEETS | 1st XV & 2nd XV Teamsheets for tomorrows matches against Heriots & Stewarts Melville.

The 1st XV travel across town to face Heriots at Goldenacre in an Edinburgh Derby match. If the Chieftains win they will leapfrog Heriots into third place. Kick off 3pm.

Meanwhile at Malleny the 2nd XV will take on Stewarts Melville at 3pm also.

COACHES COMMENTS ON SELECTION

Greg Peterson and Tevita Tameilau are back with the Warriors this week so Rhys Davies and Scott McGinley come back into the starting team. Argentinian prop, Matias Sonzogni Argiro comes into the league squad for the first time having recovered from an injury picked up in pre-season. Marc Kelly, Roan Frostwick and Adam Hall also come on to the bench.

COACHES COMMENTS ON THE 1st XV MATCH

Another good performance last week from us at Malleny. The challenge now is to take that form away from home, something we have not managed so far this season. The boys are starting to understand the work that goes in during the week to produce consistency in performance at the weekend and we feel we are starting to turn a corner in this regard. Heriots have been in good form so far this season with a strong pack and a good blend of youth and experience. There have been some terrific matches between the two sides in recent seasons, normally going down to the last play. This weekend’s match will likely be the same with the ability to convert chances into points probably key.
