CHIEFTAINS HOME SEMI
Saturday 24th March – K.O 3:00pm
After defeating Heriots in a thrilling encounter at the Oriam 3 weeks ago we are now facing Ayr at Malleny Park this Saturday, 24th March, kick-off 3.00pm in the BT Premiership Semi Final.
Head Coach Ben Cairns speaking this week said - "The boys have worked tirelessly all season to ensure a 2nd home playoff semifinal in 3 years. These big games at Malleny are special and they are made all the more special by a large vocal crowd. It would be great to see the whole Chieftains community get behind the boys in their quest to make a first playoff final.”
Club Captain Mikey Vernel added - “After a long season and endless support from the whole club, it would be great to reach our first playoff final and push on to win the Premiership. I know that it would make the difference to hear all your support from the side-lines in what will be a great day for the whole club.”
Match Day Information
Parking
Parking will be extremely limited at Malleny on Saturday. We strongly recommend using public transport or walking to the ground, if you live locally. We will have a disco on in the club afterwards so all the more reason to not bring the car.
On street parking is available but again this is limited and restricted in the area.
Facilities that are open Pre- and Post-Match
Pre- Match, the Malleny Lounge upstairs will be open for all to use from 1:30pm. The Main Hall & Rogerson Suite are both being used for the Pre- Match lunch which is sold out.
Bars will close at 3pm and then re-open at Half time of the match.
Post-Match, The Malleny Lounge & Main Hall will be open,
Gate opening time / Prices
It was agreed at the Premiership 1 forum that playoff games would be treated as Cup Games Therefore Membership Cards are NOT Valid for this match.
Gates open at 2:30pm for the match, Admission Prices are:Adults - £12Students / Seniors 60+ - £8Under 16's - FREE
Pitch-side catering
There will be pitch side catering on Saturday. A Coffee van will be there along with a Hot food outlet selling burgers, hotdogs, chips etc.
Game Day Raffle
Keep an eye out for Currie Chieftains seniors and juniors who will be selling raffle tickets around the clubhouse and ground. Some outstanding prizes to be won including:

Disco Karaoke from 7.30pm
All welcome post match in the clubhouse where Chaplins disco will be partying with us until midnight Saturday. Food will be available to purchase also in the evening.
