All 22 players got good game time and well done to the 3 squad members not playing but along to support.

Saturday 17th August 2019 (pre-season friendly): Currie Chieftains Colts 56 – Biggar Colts 26

Thank you to Biggar for travelling to Malleny for a final pre-season friendly before the league kicks off on 24th. Both teams had big squads and great to see so many players enjoying their rugby. Everyone got a run out and for Currie the improvement from last week was very evident so well done team and coaches at training through the week. Final score Currie 56 Biggar 26. Tries across the team from McCall (2), Bradshaw, Bowman, Raphael, Wales, Crombie and S Lomani. 100% kicking success rate from Sprott (5), Crombie (2) and Rice. Some fantastic tries and special mention to Bradshaw for the 'assist' for McCall's 2nd try (the length of the pitch except the last 5 yards!).
