A sunny early spring day at Malleny and we welcomed our visitors from Stewart’s Melville.  As is always the case when these teams meet, what followed was a fully committed, running and often skillful game of rugby.  The match, whilst not without errors, was competitive from the off and both sides had to dig deep on occasions in both defence and attack.
The final score was Currie Chieftains U15 33-15 Stewart’s Melville U15.  Tries came from MacLean, Cullen, McCall, Hunter and Maguire.  Goals were kicked by McCallum (3) and Maguire.
Thanks to Stewart’s Melville players and coaches for a great game.
