The club was founded in 1970 ‘to promote and develop the game of rugby in the area for the benefit of the sport and the community’. Our aim remains to offer excellent rugby facilities and coaching and an outstanding experience for rugby players and supporters.
Our men’s 1st X, 2nd XV and 3rd XV teams play in the Tennent’s Premiership, Inter City Reserve League and East Region Reserve League District 1 respectively. Our women’s and girl’s section continues to develop and currently plays in festival and tournament events. Our Boys U13-U16 and Colts (U18) teams play in Scottish Rugby’s Conference and League competitions, and our Mini-rugby teams participates in regular tournaments and fixtures.
